Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Corporate Communion
Veterans Day is our Nation’s holiday that honors those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. November 11 marks the anniversary of the end of World War I; major hostilities formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, when the Armistice with Germany went into effect. We previously observed Armistice Day; the U.S. holiday was renamed Veterans Day in 1954.
On Sunday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day, at the 10 AM Mass, we will be joined by Fourth Degree members of the Knights of Columbus and their families for Corporate Communion as a sign of their fraternal solidarity. These Sir Knights from Archbishop Edward J. Hana Assembly 61, in Santa Rosa, make up the Patriotic Degree of the Order, of which Fr. Raul Lemus is the Faithful Friar.
